Ergo Safe series: Giasco's unique innovation. Safety shoes with an innovative outer sole - ErgoSafe sole. Taller in the front and back to make it easier for the user to walk. Shock absorption in the heel area. Special section on the heel for extra grip and reduced slippage. The shape of the sole helps to transfer all the pressure from the user to the center of the shoe and this gives the user the following advantages:

ESD : ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) - Blocks the passage of static electricity from 0.1MOH to 100MOH. The shoe meets the requirement according to the standard EN ISO 61340-4-3: 2001 for electrical resistance ESD category 3.

ESD category 3: tests are performed at standard room temperature and humidity.

Innovation: Sole application in the upper part with the process of molding - injection, without glue or seams.

Injection is a process where the upper is placed in the mold and liquid polyurethane (PU) is injected to form an anatomically correct midsole and/or outsole. It is the strongest way to place the sole on the upper part of the shoe. Without glue or seams, the strongest possible bond is achieved, providing unsurpassed durability and long life. It is a watertight seal that prevents water from penetrating between the upper part and the sole of the shoe. Extremely light, flexible and comfortable.

Basic leather IDROTECH® WRU Full Grain leather 1.8 - 2.0mm thick.

IDROTECH®: IDROTECH® is a registered trademark on the treatment of leather with the aim of optimizing its water resistance and breathability of the foot. It ensures maximum comfort in every season and maximum protection from external factors. The use of mineral salts gives excellent softness and complete mechanical resistance to oils and hydrocarbons. IDROTECH® leather is certified according to ISO 4045, ISO 17075 and ISO 5403 standards.

WRU: Water Resistant Upper.

Protection on the upper part: 200J strength toe cover made of polymer synthetic, non-thermal material according to EN 12568 . Pressure resistance up to 15KN. Lighter than metal.

Non-thermal: The material is non-conductive - The user does not perceive heat or cold unlike metal.

200J(oule) : Resistance to a load of 20 kg falling from a height of 1.0m.

Protection in the lower part: Midsole, elastic, non-thermal, anti-sweat made of puncture-resistant synthetic fabric with strength up to 1100N according to EN 12568 and bending strength up to 1,000,000 flexions.

1100N(ewton): The sole must stop being punctured by a nail when 1100 Newtons of pressure is applied to it.

Flexion: The Sole must be able to withstand the pressure exerted by 1,000,000 flexions.

Sole of the Ergo Safe series : Antistatic double-density polyurethane (PU/PU), resistant to hydrolysis according to ISO 5423: 92, to hydrocarbons and to abrasion. Shock-resistant and anti-slip - anti-shock + anti-slipping SRC. With a special bending point in the front part and with a slope in the heel that improves walking.

PU/PU: Dual density polyurethane. Hard outer part (sole) and soft inner part (where the sole steps). Temperature resistant up to 130 °C with contact. Resistant to oils - petroleum. Indoor and outdoor use. Operating temperature down to -10 °C. It leaves no marks on the floor.

Anti slipping SRC: The highest slip resistance index - SRC = SRA (tile floor - water and detergent) + SRB (steel floor - glycerin).

Anti-Static: Prevents the passage of static electricity from 0.1MOH to 1000MOH.

Insole 2000 : Combination of two materials. Detachable, absorbent, with antistatic properties and breathability. Anatomical design that minimizes friction and a special shape in the heel for extra shock absorption.
